With the Easyblock wheel restraint, communication between drivers and your handling staff follows an intuitive principle supported by visual light indicators, both on the restraint itself and inside your building, requiring no verbal communication.
Completely unaffected by ground conditions or cleanliness, this wheel restraint does not need to be lifted by the driver. Ergonomic in design, it is engaged by a simple push and locks in place thanks to its oversized electromagnet, securing the wheel 420 mm above ground level.
As long as the driver has not restrained the vehicle, the indicator on the wheel restraint remains green and the operator cannot open the sectional door. Once the wheel is locked, the indicator on the restraint switches to red, while the internal signal light inside the building turns green. The door can then be opened.
From that moment on, any attempt to unlock the restraint is impossible; moreover, such an attempt triggers an audible alarm, immediately alerting your teams to the driver’s action so they can intervene in time!
Once handling operations are completed, the dock leveller is returned to its resting position and the door is closed, the wheel restraint signals to the driver that it can be unlocked. As soon as this is done, the restraint returns to green, the internal signal switches to red and the door is locked once again.
